Workshop with Anna Gaberscik
How do dominant power structures show up in our interpersonal and professional space? What can we do to be more aware of them and constructively challenge them? How does an inclusive, person-centered approach support anti-racist creative practices?
In this workshop, anti-racism strategies and tools will inform our discussions and activities. With these tools we will explore the role that power dynamics and consent play in awareness and responsibilty-lead spaces. How can we put active anti-racist tools and mindfulness (‘care’) at the center of our collaborative and or creative processes?
This workshop is not about getting everything right. It is about constructively questioning our understanding and perspectives, taking responsibility, learning and unlearning. We will talk and engage in an honest and open discussion about the topic, and we will navigate how we can all work more towards awareness and responsibility.
