About Ambrose Tjark 

Ambrose Tjark is a Nigerian-born dance performer, choreographer, and multi-faceted artist based in Ontario, Canada. A founding member of Westsyde Lifestyle in Lagos, he is known for his afro-fusion style rooted in Naija street dances like Konto and Shaku, blended with hip hop and Afro-Caribbean influences. He has performed and choreographed for artists including Skepta, Major Lazer, and Wizkid, and was featured in Qudus Onikeku’s internationally touring production Re:incarnation. As an educator and curator, he has contributed to major afro dance festivals worldwide, and is currently touring globally with Oulouy’s Afrikan Party by Africa Moment.

About Yemi Afolabi Osokoya

Yemi Afolabi Osokoya is a Lagos-based movement artist, choreographer, and filmmaker, and a founding member of Westsyde Lifestyle, a leading advocate for Afro-urban culture. His work blends dance and visual storytelling, balancing chaos and order while reflecting real-life experiences through body intelligence and reinvention. He has performed with artists like Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Major Lazer, toured internationally with Qudus Onikeku’s Re:incarnation, and is currently co-director and performer in Oulouy’s Afrikan Party by Africa Moment. Beyond performance, Yemi curates platforms such as Afropolis (Barcelona) and Town Square (Lagos), fostering community, connection, and cultural exchange.
