Peer to Peer | April 26 | 5 – 7 pm | Huset-KBH
CANCELLATION! OBS! Unfortunately we have to cancel the event due to illness – we hope to be able to reschedule this conversation for another time!
“Cheating space” is the title of this Peer to Peer, and it is facilitated by urbanist, and creative producer at Sydhavn Theater, Lasse Mouritzen.
Cheating space is a conversation between Mouritzen and artist and curator Frida Robles revolving around artistic and choreographic practice as a mode to explore detours, fringes, and distortions of spatial agendas and logics. Looking through a wide range of public art projects, performances, texts, activism, and poetry, Mouritzen and Robles will discuss possibilities, dilemmas, and failures of “cheating space” and how it can be understood to re-choreographing life.
In the Spring 2023 Peer to Peer will take place in Huset-KBH from 5-7PM, Balsalen (1st floor next to Spisehuset), Rådhusstræde 13, 1466 Copenhagen.
What is Peer to Peer?
Peer to Peer is a series of artist-driven conversations focusing on professional sharings about dance, choreography, and its impact. You will meet colleagues in a facilitated yet casual space. It’s a moment for getting closer to your communities and being curious about what is happening in the field – and with each other.
During the season, we address different topics, and the individual events are facilitated by the invited artists. The specific program for each Peer to Peer will be announced during the season.
We start by meeting for half an hour of informal conversation and something to drink. Then we continue with the facilitated part by the guest(s) of the day. After the event, it is possible to continue the conversations.
The topic and format are chosen by the invited artist in collaboration with Dansehallerne. You are welcome to contact Dansehallerne/v. Anna Katrine Korning, akk@dansehallerne.dk if you have ideas for topics for the conversations.
How you choose to participate in the conversations is up to you.
We meet approximately twice a month, and the event is in English. You do not need to sign up – just show up.
