Lille Prinsen

This performance is only presented at Baltoppen LIVE

LILLE PRINSEN is a dance performance inspired by the world-famous book with the same title, written and illustrated by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.
It is stunningly beautiful and evocative performance where imagination is let loose. Just like the book, the performance deals with big and small questions about being a small person in a big world.

Tina Tarpgaard from Denmark and Daniel Nelson from Sweden created a number of choreographic and musical tableaux where we get to follow the pilot who has crashed in the desert and the mysterious little character called the Little Prince, and how they together explore their relationship. Within this imaginary journey we’ll meet strange characters and peculiar things familiar from the book.

Norrdans
Is based in Härnösand, is the dance company of Northern Sweden. Our mission is to present high-quality contemporary dance in all its forms, with a particular focus on young audiences.
We also have a special mission to tour the four northernmost counties of Sweden.
Since the start in 1995, we have produced dance performances with choreographies by international modern dance heavyweights as well as new talents.
