KORAL

This autumn, you can explore interactive dance for the whole family when Dansehallerne presents the first edition of ‘KORAL: A dance festival for children – and the whole family’.

KORAL takes place October 15-17, 2022 in Valby Kulturhus and is primarily aimed at families with young children aged 1 – 9 years. The whole family gets a shared opportunity to discover the many qualities and nuances of dance and choreography.

At KORAL, all the performances are interactive, which creates an engaging and a special experience. In addition, the festival gives you the opportunity to explore dance in new playful ways, and the program schedule will make time for tumbling around, eating lunch, or simply relaxing in our festival area, which provides space for the whole family.

FYI. Filming and photos may be taken during the festival for documentation. If you or your family do not want to be filmed or photographed, you can inform producer Anne Mai Slot Vilmann when you arrive.

PROGRAM

When you buy a ticket for one of the festival’s performances, you also have access to our festival area. At the festival area, the whole family can challenge themselves, together. You can make corals from self-drying clay, take a picture for Instagram, and take part in the competition for the most creative coral. You can also go to the dance studio and meet a dance facilitator, where there is plenty of opportunity to move and reflect on the day’s experience. And of course, we have created space for the little ones to play in a sea of coral toys.
