Mette Ingvartsen
For Annual Pass: to come (extended)

We are constantly surrounded by images of sexual bodies. All kinds of media expose the intimate and the erogenous. Flesh, fluids, skin, tits, and asses don’t belong to late hours in a dark joint, but to our daily life impressions. to come (extended) explores indistinctions between private and public space re. sexual representation, and the fact that it is no longer an option to switch off the stimulation of our bodily desires. Pleasure has become a must. A performance for 15 dancers exploring the sexualization of the public sphere, and how it affects us to be visually bombarded by intimate body parts and fluids.

Mette Ingvartsen’s name is bent in neon on the international stage. The Danish star choreographer now returns home to show two of her latest works. World-class dance presented at Republiqué in collaboration between Dansehallerne and Østerbro Teater.

On April 5 and 6, 2022, you can experience to come (extended) from 2017. The following two days, April 7 and 8, 2022, Moving in Concert from 2019 is presented. Experience 9 dancers’ study of how technology models our brains and haunts our bodies long after the power has been switched off. A unique opportunity to be double-impressed by the gifted and courageous Mette Ingvartsen.

Ticket booking for people with Annual Pass and Professional Membership to Dansehallerne will be accessible from January 19th, 2022 to January 26th or as long as tickets last. Everyone with Annual Pass and Professional Membership will be notified directly.
