Linda Blomqvist
Duende

Duende is a Spanish term for a heightened state of emotion.
It comes from within as a physical and emotional response to art.
It is what gives you chills, makes you smile or cry as a bodily reaction to an artistic performance that is particularly expressive.

Experience the performance Duende by the Swedish choreographer Linda Blomqvist, who with her two male co-performers, strives to reach duende in every performance and movement and invite the audience into the same state of emotion.
The three dancers do this with both synchronous choreography, large movements and stillness and slowness. A beautiful soundtrack, that spans across genres, accompanies Duende, and the performers’ voices also come into play.

Duende says yes to the ability of dance and music to convey emotions and storytelling.
