Sophia Mage
Contemporary Dance and Adapted Martial Arts

The initial part of the class focuses on practices adapted from martial arts, especially qigong and Brazilian jiujitsu. Internal martial arts draw focus inwards to generate energy with a gradual movement towards more exterior forms. The central theme of the morning training can be simplified to a direction: moving from the inside to the outside.
Afterwards, the class usually focuses on learning either dance phrases or a choreographic score. Expect to work deeply and sweat a lot.

The classes are held at Dansehallerne, Franciska Clausens Plads 27, DK-1799 Copenhagen V, in Studio 3.

Getting there
Studio 3 is located on the ground floor with step-free access from the main entrance.
