Celebration Gathering: Congratulations on Your New House!

On the last day of August, Dansehallerne opens the doors to our new home in the Carlsberg City District! We’re celebrating this momentous occasion with an opening ceremony and celebration for everyone on 31 August, followed by our new large-scale biennale for dance and choreography, OPENINGS, happening from 3-8 September.

On 2 September, we would like to invite all of you, the professional members of Dansehallerne, to a toast and a tour of our new house—which is also your house!

We will start with a warm welcome from Danjel Andersson, Director and Artistic Leader of Dansehallerne, followed by a tour of the (busy) building. After returning to the foyer, Danjel Andersson will share his thoughts on your presence in Dansehallerne, while we toast and congratulate each other on the house we’ve all been eagerly anticipating for years!

We look forward to seeing you in Dansehallerne, the new national home for dance and choreography.

This event is free, but registration is required to ensure drinks for everyone.

Filming and photo shooting at the event

At this event, Dansehallerne will record video and photo footage for promotional purposes. The aim is to capture the activities that are part of the membership at Dansehallerne, and furthermore, to capture the community vibes of being a member of Dansehallerne. The video footage will not be sold to any third parties unless the people who can be identified in the video approve.
