Dansehallerne is part of Aerowaves – a European network dedicated to promoting the work of emerging choreographers across borders. The network consists of 46 partners in 34 European countries and selects 20 promising artists each year through the Aerowaves Twenty programme.
In addition to curation and touring collaborations, Aerowaves also develops initiatives focused on dance criticism, audience engagement, sustainability, digital dissemination – and international exchange through the Beyond Europe project.
Projects such as the Spring Forward Festival, Springback Magazine, and Springback Academy play a central role in increasing the visibility of and discourse around contemporary dance in Europe.
As the Danish partner, Dansehallerne helps identify, share, and present new choreographic voices – actively contributing to mobility, knowledge exchange, and international collaboration for the next generation of choreographers.
