– A Screendance Workshop with Tanin Torabi
In this workshop with the award-winning Iranian filmmaker and choreographer, Tanin Torabi, she invites participants to explore the process of screendance making through her distinctive approach to collective single-take shooting, while encouraging them to use and develop their improvisation, anticipation, and prompt decision-making skills.
The workshop is arranged in collaboration with DDSKS Further Education and was made possible through an initiative by Maia Elisabeth Sørensen, dance film artist and curator.
The workshop offers participants the opportunity to deepen their understanding of the relationship between the camera and movement, and to explore dance film creation in a highly collaborative process in which everyone is both moving and responsible for image-making.
