ABOUT THE PERFORMANCES
Jens-Antonio Schyth Brøndum / AS WE FOLD (15 min)
“If this is the end, how do we spend our last moment together. “
As we fold, a physical contemporary dance performance commemorates the passage of time and the cycle of life. As longevity becomes a social expectation and ageing a fear, this solo strives to prepare for all things to pass. Through organic movements, atmospheric soundscapes, and honesty, the audience is invited into a performance of self-reflection. The work questions urgency and seeks presence, as even this moment will fade.
Mr. Kriss / The Acrobat and The Guitarist (10 min)
Mr. Kriss (dance) and Alan Grezl (live music) speak through different instruments – but with the same heart. Blending experimental breaking and flamenco, they dissolve borders to create a raw, passionate dialogue beyond words.
Flow Killerz / FK LIFE – A French-flavoured classic break performance (10 min)
From the Parisian underground, we get a taste of the latest break trends with the energetic dance group Flow Killerz led by coach Paolo Pambou, one of the most influential figures in break dancing in France. Flow Killerz consists of ten passionate and talented dancers: Spider girl / lotus / smile / Red-one / Jiren / Maxoo / El phenomeno / Hugz / Mighty max / Dalsim.
Helena Alves & Mar Espona / AARGH! (12 min)
What happens when someone screams in the street, and no one dares to join? Helena Alves and Mar Espona dive into the tension between expression and judgment, freedom and conformity in the duet AARGH!. Sparked by a true story, the piece zooms in on the absurdity of social norms through dance and humour. With one scream, the performers invite the audience to reflect on the unwritten rules that silence us, and ask: why are we so afraid to be loud?
