Tiziana Fracchiolla
(De)stabilization & connection

(De)stabilization & connection is a movement practice Tiziana developed and has been teaching for the past 8 years. The practice views the body and the place we are in as a playground of potentiality. We will investigate the anatomy of our bodies, in relation to the surrounding and supporting architectural structures in the place. Through contact with structures and playing around the edges of our stability, we will work to hydrate and stimulate the fascial network.
The classes have guided frames to move within and around. Each individual has agency over whether the practice is a dynamic, intense training or a somatic, moving meditation.

Gert Østergaard Pedersen will be playing live music for the classes!

The practice aims to spark curiosity, awaken the senses, encourage divergent thinking and practice detached mindfulness. These elements are explored whilst moving to increase dynamic stability, flexibility and individual movement potential. A sense of calm even through challenges, and connection within and without, are at the heart of the work.

Only as a member, you can take part in Dansehallerne’s training activities – a year-round program with approximately 5 days of training per week. International guests can also join training for free for up to 1 month.

These classes are in close collaboration with DDSKS and will be shared with students at the school.
