Dansehallerne’s new, expansive festival for dance.

From August 31, Dansehallerne opens the doors to our new home in the Carlsberg City District and celebrates the big event with an eye-opener, a large-scale festival from September 3 – 8: OPENINGS. The festival opens Dansehallerne’s stages for big international stars and strong national talents. For a wide spectrum of dancing bodies: older bodies, smaller bodies, bodies with different shapes and colors. For the iconic and the surprising. For different perspectives. OPENINGS is a celebration of dance and an opening for new experiences.

It all kicks off with a festive opening day on August 31st, where we invite everyone to participate in the inauguration of Dansehallerne’s new home. It will be a party, a celebration, a grand opening of a new national hub for dance and choreography. We will fill the house with international, diverse and thought-provoking dance experiences and activities for both young and old. We toast and we celebrate. Everyone is welcome.
