The autumn holidays are packed with interactive dance experiences for the whole family when Dansehallerne presents the second edition of KORAL: A dance festival for children aged 0-6 and their adults.
KORAL takes place on the 19th-22nd. October 2023 in Valby Kulturhus and is primarily aimed at families with young children with children aged 0 – 6 years. The whole family gets a shared opportunity to discover the many qualities and nuances of dance and choreography.
For KORAL, all the performances are interactive, which provides an engaging and special experience.
PROGRAM
When you buy a ticket for one of the festival’s performances, you also have access to our festival area, where the audience can explore our interactive festival centre, before and after a performance.
This year, stage artist and director Jakob La Cour and choreographer Simone Wierød have created a work that unfolds as an investigation of the meeting between choreography and technology. The work gives the audience the opportunity to examine the surface of the sea and its encounter with air and light.
In the festival center you can therefore have a bodily and sensoric experience, frolic in the dance hall, eat your packed lunches or simply relax in our festival area, which provides space and space for the whole family with small children.
