In this class we will use reversibility as a tool to highlight the felt experience of dancing while moving with precision and relaxation. Drawing from somatic and meditative practices, the class begins with a guided body scan. From there we will continue with movement explorations focusing on groundedness and interconnections within the body in motion. Through exercises in set form we will take a closer look at specific body mechanics and coordinations.

The last part of the class will vary from day to day, between partner exercises, learning a reversible movement phrase and testing tools for making set material.

Please bring warm cloths and anything you need to lie comfortably on the floor for the first part of the class.

The classes are held at Dansehallerne, Franciska Clausens Plads 27 DK-1799 Copenhagen V in Studio 3.
