Sine Krag
Threading and soft acrobatics

In this week’s class, Sine Krag will guide the participants through acrobatic elements and the concept of threading. The class will be characterized by playfulness and curiosity but will be physically demanding as well. The acrobatics part will focus on soft acrobatics and elements closer to the floor. Expect to work with movement and tricks from different backgrounds, such as experimental dance, floorwork, breaking, circus and more.
The participants will work with acrobatics at their own level and learn how to weave the acrobatic movement into their dance through threading. Therefore, you can join this class with any movement background and learn from that point on. If you have a lot of experience with acrobatics, it is also possible to work on more demanding jumps and tricks.
We recommended that you wear long-sleeved clothes and, if needed, kneepads and soft shoes.

Only as a member, you can take part in Dansehallerne’s training activities – a year-round program with approximately 5 days of training per week. International guests can also join training for free for up to 1 month.

Sine Krag is artistic director of Kompagni47, a company based in Næstved working with physical stage art. As a performer, Sine works within a variety of disciplines, but mostly with dance and contemporary circus. Sine is fond of stunts, slapstick, humour and high-paced movement. Her mixed movement background comes from being autodidact, but Sine has since been educated through courses at e.g. AFUK, Qiajuk and the Danish National School of Performing Arts.
