Bust a Move

’Bust a Move’ builds on well known dances from pop music, that many people know solely from music videos and social medias, but that actually originate from a long history of afro American culture and dance styles like lindy hop, tap dance, jazz dance, hiphop, popping, house, and vogue.

It’s a captivating performance with high energy where you as an audience go from being spectators to co-players, and at last, dancers together with the three professional dancers. We experience and speak about how dancing affects us.

In ’Bust a Move’ we see how pop culture can unite people across the world in togetherness and movement. By using music that is wellknown from our dailiday lives, it’s an invitation to join the dance performance and an acknowledgement that what many children and young people are into, has a value – artistically and society wise.
