Writing Workshop by bastard in collaboration with Dansehallerne

Are you passionate about communicating and writing about dance?
Do you want to develop and strengthen a language for dance and choreography?

The performance and dance magazine bastard is looking for new dance writers and now offers, in collaboration with Dansehallerne, a writing workshop in March 2022 by dance critic at Politiken, Monna Dithmer, and editor at bastard, Mette Garfield.

The writing workshop is primarily aimed at people with an interest in developing and strengthening a language for dance and choreography and those who have a knowledge of how to write about performing arts, visual literature, music, architecture, film, or interdisciplinary art practices.
Please note that the workshop and writing will be in Danish.

The workshop consists of three sessions in March and April. As a baseline, the workshop will use two performances in the POPDEATHPOWER program presented by Dansehallerne x Betty at Edison: Dead by Beauty and the Beast by Amanda Apetrea & Halla Oláfsdottir, and Metasexy by Inés Belli.

The workshop will take place at the venue Edison March 23rd and 30th and April 5th at Teater Republique. All days at 4-6:30 pm.
