Dance course in the school

In the fall 2016, seven schools in Roskilde can look forward to get a visit from a community dance artist from Dansefyrtårn ROK. The dance course is directed towards students at the intermediate school level (class 4-6), and they will together with the community dance artist work with dance for a week with the theme ‘relations.’

Before the dance course, the teachers will be invited to a teacher workshop where they will get the possibility to upgrade their skills in relation to working with dance and creative processes.

Dance in the school at Dansefyrtårn ROK is a part of the nation-wide project, Ta’ fat om dansen, which is led by Dansehallerne and is supported by Nordea-fonden (2014-2017). Dansefyrtårn ROK is moreover supported by Kulturregion Midt- og Vestsjælland.
