April 7th was a watershed moment for Dansehallerne as the agreement on Kedelhuset finally became a reality. Once again, Dansehallerne will have its own venue, and Kedelhuset will become the center for future unfoldings of dance and choreography for the benefit and joy of people in Copenhagen and Denmark in general. Let’s celebrate!
On June 15, we invite all of you, our colleagues in the industry, to join us for a social gathering and a closer look at Kedelhuset.
We start by presenting the future plans for Kedelhuset, concerning the architectural perspectives, the rebuilding process, and the future impact of this house for audiences as well as professionals.
After the presentation, we invite everyone for a tour in Kedelhuset to get a closer look at the industrial historical monument. The original significant exterior of the boiler house is preserved in its entirety, and in the inner core, the raw, mighty hall will be rebuilt with respect for the architectural qualities worthy of preservation.
To round off the evening, we continue in the nearest park with some light food and drinks before sending each other off for the holidays.
Please note the registration deadline is on June 10th, 11.59 PM.

Filming and photo shooting at the event
At this event, Dansehallerne will record video and photo footage for promotional purposes. The aim is to capture the activities that are part of the membership at Dansehallerne, and furthermore, to capture the community vibes of being a member of Dansehallerne. The video footage will not be sold to any third parties unless the people who can be identified in the video approve.
