These classes will be offered together with the students at DDSKS as
part of their curriculum. The initial part of the class focuses on practices adapted from martial arts, especially Qi Gong and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Internal martial arts draw focus within the body in order to generate energy with a gradual movement towards more exterior forms. The central theme of the morning training can be simplified to the direction from within to without.
The later part of the class usually focuses on learning set choreographic material, ie dance phrases. You can expect to work deeply and to get sweaty. Classes are taught in collaboration with musician Toke Tietze Mortensen who DJs and plays live percussion.
Only as a member, you can take part in Dansehallerne’s training activities – a year-round program with approximately 5 days of training per week.
This is for all professional members no matter background in dance training, and it is possible to drop in✨
International guests can also join training for free for up to 1 month.
These classes are in close collaboration with DDSKS and will be shared with students at the school.
