The class works with the connective tissue as a means to experience how all parts of our bodies are interconnected.
It is a soft but efficient training where I guide you towards a release in the connective tissue and experience the effect of working with that which encloses all parts of the body; muscles, bones, nerves, blood vessels, organs, etc.
We will take these experiences into movement patterns that, amongst others, focus on the psoas muscle and the vagus nerve. Exercises that provide the opportunity to create a feeling of more spaciousness and connectedness in the body.
The class is for those who want to move from a sense of bodily wholeness, and is also suitable for those who have injuries. I am interested in a dancer’s body that does not have to live up to external pressure, but can be allowed to feel what is needed. The class challenges somatic dance training where the focus is to let go in the right way. The important thing is your energy and your pace, and to create a framework for self-care.
Bring your own yoga mat, warm clothes and small exercise balls to lie on if you have.
We encourage you to continue looking after yourself & each other, and will no longer check corona passes at training, only your tickets;)
