Choreographer Anna Konjetzky would like to meet her Danish colleagues in Dansehallerne’s peer sharing program Peer to Peer. The theme is choreographic thinking as a practice of reflection and transformation, embedded in a socio-political context.
This approach can be found not only in the topics and aesthetics of Anna Konjetzky’s work but also in the settings and formats she creates in her choreographies, her artistic research, and in the facilitation of exchange platforms, collaborative researches, and shared training.
Anna’s work happens physically, aesthetically, and politically within a queer-feminist discourse – as a proposition for a dialogue. We negotiate questions in the body, with the body, and between bodies.
The event will vary between lecture-discussion, shared activities, and will be accompanied by Anna’s long-term collaborator and twin artist Sahra Huby and her graphic recording.
About Peer to Peer
Peer to Peer is the new title for Dansehallerne’s peer sharing program with online as well as live encounters. We invite the industry, artists in the field of dance and choreography, into a moderated yet informal space where the aim is to share artistic practice and to have professional conversations about artistic work. We aim for dialogue and the format is open and very much up to the invited artists to define.
