DANCE COURSE

Biologien Danser is one of Dansefyrtårn Copenhagen and Brøndby’s aims within “Dans i skolen” – one of the four main programmes at the big, nation-wide dance projects “Ta’ fat om dansen.”

The project runs from 2014-2017 and is operated by Dansehallerne and financed by the Nordea Fund.

Biologien Danser is directed towards the intermediate step. One weekly course which is combined with biology and dance. On the Monday the students will be send out in the nature (a forest, a field area, a swamp etc.) where they will capture different animals and insects and observe their movements.

From these movements and under the guidance of a choreographer from dansefyrtårnet, the students will put together a choreography which they will practise the rest of the week and show at the school on the Friday.
